Top quality yacht building
The process of completing your Xplorer starts at one of Damen’s hull building yards. Under the supervision of our project management team, the craftsmen and women at our specialists yards assemble the steel and aluminium before the hull hits the water for the first time and the outfitting phase begins.
Materials
- Steel hull with scantlings, welds, plating and stiffeners engineered by Damen Yachting for minimum noise and vibrations, with Ice Class steel ice belt
- Aluminium and steel superstructure
- Faired and painted to perfection with the highest acceptance criteria in modern, climate and humidity controlled covered facilities
- Teak decks with first class grade quarter sawn 55-mm (visible) wide teak
- Energy saving LED lighting for both interiors and exteriors
- All guest windows are double-glazed to insulate against both temperature and noise. An additional window heat absorption layer further reduces HVAC air-conditioning power demands.
